Here's my calendar of upcoming events. This summer I have lightened my touring and teaching schedule in order to have time to write. However, I am still considering some summer requests for workshops and I'll be announcing details for the autumn events, so check back often.

Wednesday, 7 October 2009 Evening workshop Kinky Tantra In this workshop, you'll learn how simple Tantric techniques such as breath, laughter, ritual, presence, and conscious connection can be included in a BDSM scene to intensify pleasure and expand consciousness. Barbara will explain why Tantra and BDSM—both energy-focused sexual paths—are more similar than you may think. She will also answer your individual questions about how Tantric techniques can take your scene to the next level. Although this is not an introductory BDSM workshop, it will provide people who are new to BDSM with a powerful introduction to the energetic and ecstatic possibilities of BDSM. Thursday, 8 October 2009 Evening workshop The Art of Open Relationships: Non-monogamy, Polyamory and More Non-monogamy. Polyamory. Open Relationships. How do these work? Is it worth the effort? In this workshop you'll learn the first steps to opening up an existing relationship, as well as more advanced tips and techniques for dealing with conflict, jealousy, time, and roles. In this workshop you'll practice Tantric techniques that will enable you to unite your sexual power with the power of your partner(s) to manifest your desires. You'll learn how to use sex magic for healing (yourself and others), to alleviate pain and fear, to soothe emotional wounds, to practice forgiveness, to strengthen your relationship, to empower a business or a social cause, and even to come to terms with death. The workshop will end with a sex magic meditation that will allow you to practice sex magic for a personal desire or cause.
